About Us
Welcome to "Curtain Up". We are a drama company based in Sanderstead, in Surrey. We teach speech & drama to children, young adults and adults.
We run weekend and after-school classes for groups and individuals for all ages 5- 18 years, and adults, at all levels.
First-Rate Course Offerings
During our drama classes, "Curtain Up" prepares students for one of the following LAMDA exams:

- Speaking Verse & Prose
- Public Speaking

Our classes involve a wide range of speech and drama activities, such as acting games, improvisation, working with published texts, breathing exercises, physical games, learning lines and sight reading.
The Croydon Festival of Music & Drama takes place in April and May every year. "Curtain Up" enters students into the drama component of the festival.
